Raw Material

• Material Used: High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) virgin or recycled granules

• MFI (Melt Flow Index): 0.31.0 g/10 min (typical range for monofilament)

• Additives: UV stabilizers, color masterbatch (as required)

3. Main Components of the Plant

A. Extruder Unit

• Screw Diameter: 65 mm to 100 mm

• L: D Ratio: 28: 1 or 30: 1 ORR 32: 1

• Material: Nitrided or bimetallic screw & barrel

• Heating Zones: 45 zones with PID-controlled heaters

• Cooling: Air or water-cooled

B. Monofilament Die Head

• Die Type: Circular or flat die with multiple holes

• Hole Diameter: 0.2 to 1.0 mm depending on required denier

• Material: Hardened stainless steel

C. Quenching Bath

• Material: Stainless steel

• Cooling Medium: Water (temperature controlled)

D. Godet Rollers / Pre-draw Unit

• Function: Primary orientation of filaments

• Material: Hard chrome plated

• Drive: Individual AC motors with VFD

E. Hot Air Oven / Drawing Chamber

• Temperature: 80130C

• Purpose: Thermal setting & further orientation

• Length: 2 to 4 meters

F. Final Godet Unit

• Function: Post-drawing control

• Stretch Ratio: 3: 1 to 7: 1 (adjustable depending on desired denier)

G. Take-up Winder / Bobbin Winder

• Type: Surface winder or precision winder

• Bobbin Size: Custom as per customer requirement (typically 4 or 6)

• Winding Speed: Synchronized with line speed

• Power Supply: 415V / 3 Phase / 50 Hz

• Installed Load: 60 150 kW (depends on machine size)

• Water Supply: Soft water for cooling

• Air Supply: Compressed air (for pneumatic controls if needed)
